Brooks Koepka won the PGA Championship and was second at the Masters, jointly with Phil Mickelson; Cameron Smith was fourth at the Masters and ninth at the PGA Championship; and Bryson DeChambeau was fourth at the PGA. So, it is patently clear that the circuit led by Greg Norman has many of the finest current stars of world golf in its ranks.

And Royal Valderrama Club and the thousands of fans who will gather at the renowned course which hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup will be able to enjoy their star presence from 30 June to 2 July, at the first LIV Golf tournament to be played on European continental soil.

Winners of majors, world number ones and other greats of the game will be competing in Spain, many for the first time, which is an added incentive to be at Royal  Valderrama.

With fans at the core of every tournament on the new circuit, LIV Golf Valderrama presents golf enthusiasts with a fun-filled three-day sporting experience.

LIV Golf: The Global Sports Sensation

LIV Golf visited several prestigious golf courses during its inaugural 2022 season, including London's Centurion Club and Chicago's Rich Harvest Farms, and this year it continues to travel to championship courses around the world.

It is a revolutionary golf league, with 12 teams, 48 players, three 18-hole tournament rounds, shotgun starts, no cuts, shorter playing windows and smaller courses. The name LIV Golf derives from the Roman numeral 54, known in the sport as the perfect score over 18 holes. Each LIV Golf League season culminates in an exciting team championship.

Led by its CEO, Greg Norman, a former number one golfer in the world and a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, LIV Golf's unique format and robust rivalries have already captured the attention and interest of golf fans around the world.

"We received tremendous feedback from fans throughout our beta-test year,” said Norman, “with one resounding theme: LIV Golf’s team format, innovations, and festival-like events are delivering a one-of-a-kind golf experience. Last year helped lay the foundation for the future of golf at extraordinary courses that have hosted some of the world’s top competitions. LIV Golf’s schedule features fantastic venues and championship sites for our official league launch that will carry the sport into a new era."
