“Discover Finca Cortesín”: New option to become a member

“Discover Finca Cortesín” is a new option for golfers who would like to become a member of this prestigious and exclusive Costa del Sol course, venue for the Volvo World Match Play Championship in 2009, 2011 and 2012. Finca Cortesín golf manager Carlos Beautell welcomed us into the members’ cosy and friendly lounge room to outline the details of this new option for becoming a member of the course.

- What exactly is “Discover Finca Cortesín”?

- “Discover Finca Cortesín” is a new option we are offering clients so they can become members of the golf course, with various benefits that we believe are very attractive and interesting for golfers who are looking for a quality course and excellent service on the Costa del Sol.

- What are these benefits?

- The main benefit is that we offer clients the opportunity of experiencing what it’s like to be a Finca Cortesín member during a certain period of time. They have two years to try it out, paying €6,000 plus IVA (VAT) each year (a total of €12,000 plus IVA), and during this time they enjoy all the rights and benefits of being a member of Finca Cortesín. After two years, they have to decide if they want to become a lifetime member, or not, in which case they would have enjoyed a fantastic experience over the two years. The other main benefit is that this €12,000 (plus IVA), paid over two years, is completely deducted from the membership fee, which is €50,000 plus IVA. That is, they only have to pay the balance of €38,000 plus IVA, which means they would also have enjoyed membership of Finca Cortesín for two years without having to pay the member’s annual fee, which is €2,856 plus IVA.
