When the first course was inaugurated at Alcaidesa in June 1992, it was the only links-style layout in southern Europe, offering stunning views of Gibraltar and the northern African coastline. Since then, the resort has been further expanded with a second course, Alcaidesa Heathland, opened in 2007.
This month, the resort’s prominent status as a key golf destination at the eastern end of Cádiz province (and western boundary of the Costa del Sol) was celebrated with a cocktail dinner reception in the clubhouse attended by more than 300 guests.
