Costa Esuri Golf Club has two 18-hole courses. Open since December 2006, Costa Esuri Oeste (West) is a magnificent 6,607-metre course designed by José Canales and located on the banks of the Guadiana River opposite The Algarve in Portugal. The absence of real estate development within the course, the combination of a links-style front nine and an extremely precise second nine, the lengthy layout and the superb views make this a great course for all golfers.

The second 18-hole layout at Costa Esui, 6,188 metres long, is – in the words of club professional Cris Truter – “a technical and fun course, with the possibility of hosting a major pros’ event”. The course’s difficulty is not only related to the length of the layout but also to the fairway dog-legs and sloping greens. Another feature of Costa Esuri Este is the excellent design, which incorporates the area’s marshlands within the course – giving it added difficulty and a providing a spectacular setting.

HOW TO GET THERE

From the A-49 highway, travelling towards Portugal, take the 131 exit in the direction of Ayamonte Norte, and from there follow the signs to the Costa Esuri urbanisation.
