COURSE-A "MAR Y PINOS" - When the Novo Sancti Petri golf course opened its 27 holes in 1990, nobody could imagine the tremendous growth of this hidden jewel on the Costa de la Luz. It is the first design of Severiano Ballesteros in Spain and many still say it is his masterpiece. After the enlargement to 36 holes in 2001 and the incorporation of Club de Golf Campano and its expansion to 18 holes in 2006, Golf Novo Sancti Petri now offers three 18-hole courses and – with 54 holes – is one of the biggest golf courses in Spain. Surrounded by 15 four and five-star hotels, embedded harmoniously into the typical landscape that runs alongside the Atlantic Ocean, and with easy access from Jerez, Sevilla, Málaga and Gibraltar, Novo Sancti Petri has become a first-class golf destination. The sixth hole of Course A is perhaps the most spectacular, finishing on an undulating green above the broad, sandy beach. The rest of the course features water hazards, loops which trace their way among thick stands of pine trees, and open stretches where golfers will feel encouraged to use their shoulders and give the woods a good testing. A round on this course, with its abundant vegetation and the slight breeze from the Atlantic Ocean, will open any golfer’s mind.

CAMPO B "CENTRO" - The complete Course B was also designed by Seve Ballesteros, who signed off his design with an S-shaped bunker on the 18th hole. The course begins like a “walk in the park” on the first nine holes, highlighted by a lake between the 5th, 8th and 9th. From hole 10 to 13 the terrain is undulating, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Numerous water hazards offer a challenging test for players. The overall extension of 123 hectares includes spacious training facilities where the well-known PGA golf academy offers an extensive programme for anyone keen to catch the golf virus, or those already “infected”. The driving range provides space for 110 players, and practice areas for the short game have been expanded over the last two years. This steady improvement in quality has also converted Golf Novo Sancti Petri into a popular destination for company incentive, professional and group travel.

COURSE-C "CAMPANO" - With its expansion to 18 holes in 2006, the third course, C-Campano, is a major centrepiece of Novo Sancti Petri. Built according to an original design by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., this course has always been planned as an 18-hole layout even though only nine holes were opened in 1985.    Interesting and testing, the course offers wide fairways – tree-lined and including a remarkable number of olive trees. Typical features include a stream with red bridges which reappears throughout the course and challenges players time and time again. The rule “difficult par, easy bogey” applies to the entire round; the greens are fast and tricky, and the fairways – with their water hazards and lines of trees – require precision golf. With the newly-built clubhouse offering a complete range of services, including pro-shop, caddy master and reception, golfers will certainly want to spend some relaxing time here after their round, enjoying the typical tapas of the area and a glass of sherry from Jerez.
