Reasonable rates, good management and a friendly atmosphere in this traditional British-style golf club have made it extremely popular. It was designed by Gary Player and offers a challenge to players of all levels. The course, set in the Paraíso valley and traversed by streams, many of which are hidden, winds round two lakes and through hundreds of trees. The wide fairways are bordered by heavy rough. The 6th hole is generally regarded as the best on the course, a par-five dogleg left where your drive must steer clear of two well-positioned bunkers, left and right, and your second shot should be aimed to the left in order to avoid landing in the lake. The green has two tiers.

HOW TO GET THERE

On the N-340 highway in the direction of Málaga-Estepona, past the Benahavis turn-off, take the turn-off just after the second pedestrian bridge at Km. 167. Continue straight ahead for one kilometre until you reach the golf course.
